You want a subway tile, but you also want the tile to have a little pizzazz. Happily, there are wonderful variations of subway tiles that personalize and make them special but don’t stray far from the traditional look. Typically, a subway tile has a 2:1 ratio of width to length and the most common size historically is 3” x 6”. Stretch the definition ever so slightly and you get lots more choices!
