Can I order replacement pieces?

Yes, but we highly recommend you order enough overage to allow for waste and breakage during installation.  A rule of thumb is 10% more than the coverage area but this can vary greatly as a function of the shape of the room, the layout, the fragility of the tile and many other factors.  We encourage you to have a professional installer measure and estimate quantities required. Please remember many of our products are handmade and we cannot guarantee a color match from one order to the next.

Can I order samples?

Yes.  Due to the handmade nature of many of our products we highly recommend you order a sample of the product(s) you are interested in purchasing.  We encourage sampling for all products as a computer screen can never give a perfect representation of colors or finishes.

Can I purchase products on your website?

Yes, and we encourage it. We have created a user-friendly website that can walk you through all of your questions. Tango Tile can also be reached via our toll free number 855-35 -TANGO (855-358-2646) 24/7, 365 days a week.

Can I purchase tile I see on your website from a store?

Tango Tile is excited to be on the forefront of internet tile sales.  We have created a unique and comprehensive shopping experience for our customers which we hope satisfies your needs.  We have a by-appointment-only showroom located in the greater San Diego area.  We would welcome a visit.  Please call or e-mail for directions.

Can I return products?

Defective products or products materially different from the samples may be returned for a full credit or rebate.  Deliveries must be inspected and accepted upon delivery.  Defects must be reported and documented to Tango within 2 business days of receipt.

Do you accept international credit cards?

Do you install products?

We do not install products, nor do we recommend installers.  Tango Tile strongly encourages you find a highly rated professional so you will be able to enjoy your finished project for years to come. The National Tile Contractors Association has an on-line directory which may be helpful.  We also urge you to check references and see the installer’s finished work.  Even basic tile projects should have a skilled expert; it will make a noticeable difference in the end result.

How are shipping costs calculated?

Shipping costs will vary depending on the product(s) that you purchase.  We will calculate all shipping costs for you.  Shipping costs are determined by the weight, dimensions, origin and destination of product.  We also offer white glove service which can include delivery into your home and trash removal.

How do you accept payment?

Is it safe to use my credit card on your site?

Yes, we use a secure https: gateway to ensure that all credit card transactions are safe and encrypted.

The math is "off"! Why do the number of pieces per box add up to less than the the square foot per tile times the number of tiles in a box?

In many cases, tiles are manufactured in countries that use the metric system.  We describe a single tile in inches in a nominal size.  Multiplying that rounding error adds up so we make sure square feet per box is correct.

What are the lead times tiles?

Lead times vary by collection.  Tango Tile is proud to offer world renowned designers with exclusive designs that are created for your project.  We do carry some of our beautiful basic collection in-stock.  Products that ship from overseas may have an 8-12 week delivery time.  We encourage you to look at each collection for more specific information on delivery and lead times.

What is your return and exchange policy?

All sales are final.  Once Tango receives payment and orders from our vendors, all sales are non-cancelable.
